Yesterday, I received the latest Forgotten Forest "product", by my friend Georgi (Moon Ring Design). Free. No request from me. Every single album he does, he send to me right away. And, I need to specify, I NEVER see him face to face, only by web. You remember Georgi? MYSPACE!!! (Oh my Gooooooooooooooood...how much time has passed...). So, I think this is, by now, a friendship VERY rare, without any convenient business for us. ONLY passion, respect, sweat and "spit blood". I am a LUCKY guy to have people so "pure". ENG: Oooooooooooook guys! Yesterday, working on Deathcvlt debut album guitars, I tried the (relatively) new EQ plugin by PSPaudioware: the E27. So, who has seem me work, knows how much I'm a fan of hardware machine. But, hey, this little devil SOUNDS GREAT!!! I have very appreciate the low frequencies (no sludgy) and the general efficience of middle/high. A few decibels and the sound get a good character (be careful not to overdo it, or It will become too harsh). I look forward to test It to the mastering section! After years and years, I think I will buy a new plugin!
ITA: Oooooooooook raga! Ieri, lavorando sulle chitarre dell'album di debutto dei Deathcvlt, ho provato il (relativamente) recente plugin EQ della PSPaudioware: l'E27. Ordunque, chi mi ha visto lavorare, sa quanto io sia in fissa con l'hardware. Ma, hey, questo diavoletto SUONA!!! Ho apprezzato particolarmente le basse frequenze, mai fangose (come spesso accade) e l'ottima gestione dei medi/acuti. Con pochi decibels il suono assume un ottimo carattere (stando attenti a non esagerare, o ne uscirà un'asprezza sgradevole). Non vedo l'ora di testarlo nella sezione mastering! Dopo anni ed anni...mi sa che mi tocca comprare un nuovo plugin!
